Jimbaran Hotels are considered to be the classiest hotels on the island with many of the international resort located in the Jimbaran area and the access to the rest of the island being better than in Nusa Dua. There is a wonderful beach that is protected from the swell as it is located in the bay and there are cliffs and hills surrounding the area making the coastal scenery here different to the Sanur and Nusa Dua areas. The Jimbaran Hotels are usually located either on the beach or on the roads that lead from the main Jimbaran strip down to the beach so you are never far from the beach when staying in Jimbaran. The resorts here differ from the international resorts that are huge and grand to the midrange hotels that are of a similar nature but not as extravagant as the top end places. As with most places there is a lot of choice in room types and it is possible to have some money by going for a deluxe room or if you require a treat then you can find a luxury room in the right price range for you. There are traditional cottage and bungalow style accommodation as well as hotel based places and modern resorts.
As for the facilities in the Jimbaran hotels you can expect grand infinity edge pools and gorgeous gardens as well as spas and seating areas that are beautiful and relaxing. There will usually be a range of restaurants that cater for different meals and styles. Many Jimbaran hotels are liked to a beach restaurant where you can enjoy the incredible seafood barbeques that are located right on the beach with fresh fish from the Indian Ocean. These meals are fit for a honeymoon and are both romantic and out of this world in flavor. As all of the guidebooks say, eating in Jimbaran on the beach is a Bali must, and when you are staying in Jimbaran it is likely that you will be able to experience this as a matter of course.
Jimbaran hotels tend to have an intimate feel, many have their private bay or beach where you can relax and due to the way that places are spaced out around the area there is never a crowded feel. This being said you are not in the middle of nowhere and it is only a 20-minute drive to reach the airport and a little further to go to some of the other tourist areas. Jimbaran also has a selection of laces hidden away in the trees on the Cliffside where you can be away from everybody with awesome views of the bay and incredible sunset opportunities. Located on the delightful windy roads that head up to the top of the cliffs under the shade of the trees some of the places even have private access down to the beach. Where ever you choose this couples area is perfect for a more refined break.
