Ubud is located at 600 meters above the sea level where you can enjoy the fantastic views of the Balinese countryside such as the forests and the rice paddies and the mountains of the north as well as the rivers that carve valleys through the landscape. Ubud is often referred to as the cultural heart of Bali and is the place where you can see the most dedication to the ceremonies and ins and outs of the Balinese religion which is unique to the island of Bali and the Balinese people who live in a few of the neighboring islands. With so much to see and do in this beautiful area Barong Resort & Spa is located in the most convenient area to do it all while you stay.
The rooms are traditional in appearance but have a modern clean and pleasant feel that you may associate with modern luxury resorts, the effect of this is great, the rooms are both familiar and unique with Balinese style. With incredible views of the landscapes below and large luxury beds with amazing furniture and decor, the rooms at Barong Resort & Spa also have modern and comforting facilities such as air conditioning, international television and mini bars as well as surround systems and music that can be enjoyed in these separate bungalows. There are also coffee making facilities as well as a variety of household amenities that make the space feel more homely, all rooms have a very classy feel which is reflected also in the en suite bathrooms.
