Komaneka Resort is located just in the central part of Ubud in the beautiful outskirts where there are few tourists and the landscape is lined with paddies and tropical forests as well as views of the impressive mountains that stand above you. Ubud is located at 600 meters above the sea level close to the centre of the island of Bali, the closest beach is not a long drive to the fishing villages of the east coast that are rarely visited and offer tranquil deserted scenes with views of Bali's offshore islands. Ubud is about an hour's drive from the airport and once you reach Komaneka Resort you will be in an oasis of the fascinating Balinese culture at its strongest and the incredible landscapes that surround you and has inspired the painters' and artists communities for generations. Komaneka Resort is an excellent modern luxury resort that presents elements of the traditional Balinese culture in the fabrics and style of the decor, gardens and architecture. Komaneka Resort is located on the road that leads to the famous monkey forest which is an excellent place to visit as it showcase the Balinese nature and it culture as a place where monkeys dwells is one of the oldest sacred ideas in Bali.
Komaneka Resort is only a small resort with an intimate size of just twelve deluxe rooms, six pool villas and two suites, this small size means not only that the staff are able to offer the guests a better service but also that you will feel the benefits of a quiet tranquil retreat with padi field views and increased room sizes. All rooms have an excellent level of facilities as standard including sunken in bathtubs in the luxury en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, IDD international phone lines, an entertainment complex including CD and DVD players and Satellite television as well as a whole selection of amenities that create the homely cozy feel that one looks for when selecting luxury accommodation of this nature. The more exclusive villas and suites feature larger living spaces, intricate decor and a large private Balinese garden with a generously sized swimming pool and traditional Balinese 'Bale' shaded day resting areas.
There is a communal pool at the resort with a pool bar that has seating for sixteen people and serves a variety of tropical and exported beverages. There is also the Garden Terrace Restaurant that is ideal for dinning and is open from breakfast to eleven at night. Other serves include the comprehensive spa that offers a whole range of services and treatments from cream and petal baths to massages from Bali and all over the world. The only products used are indigenous fresh ingredients and there are many different beauty and health treatments to choose from as well. Massage sessions differ from the traditional Balinese massages to the aromatherapy and foot or neck and shoulders massages. There is also an extensive list of hair and nail care and treatments such as reflexology.
