Pertiwi Resort and Spa is located in the very heart of Ubud where you can find many of the main attractions of the area including the monkey forest and the numerous temples of interest. Ubud is situated in the centre of the island and stands at 600 meters above sea level where you can enjoy some incredible views and sights of the lowlands of Bali with the impressive mountains in the background as well as the rice paddies, tropical forests and the traditional villages that are located around the heart of Ubud. Ubud is commonly referred to as the cultural heart of Bali where you can see many of the cultural and traditional sights that Bali is famous for and see the people going about there lives in the traditional manner. There is also excellent shopping around Pertiwi Resort and Spa as well as an inspired and refreshing selection of dining options.
The rooms consists only of 50 rooms including 12 separate villas making this a small intimate boutique set up which is perfect for couples and honeymooners as well as families. The separate villas are of an excellent standard and feature wonderful furniture that is well above par even for villas of this standard, this includes the large grand beds, cupboards and all units as well as outdoor furniture and the general quality of all of timbers used in décor and the architecture of the villas as well as communal buildings. The villa and room options include the deluxe and superior rooms which are separate and share a large garden area with traditional décor that is toned down but of a high standard. The Villas and pool villas are where the décor of Pertiwi Resort and Spa really comes into its own. All of the options have excellent facilities featuring satellite television, air conditioning, and luxury en suite bathrooms.
Facilities include two separate pools at Pertiwi Resort and Spa which are both large and feature ample seating around the pools with both shaded locations and sunlit areas where you find a bar and tropical Balinese traditional gardens that surround the area. With only a very small number of guests the pools and all of the other areas are always quiet. There is an excellent traditional style terrace restaurant and nestled amongst the gardens and offers excellent food with impeccable service throughout the day. The spa is of a high quality and in line with other villas of this level and there is a comprehensive meeting room that is perfect for all kinds of occasions. With these kinds of services and all of the practical services such as laundry, safe deposits and currency conversion, Pertiwi Resort and Spa takes care of all your needs and even offers excellent tours and activities of the Ubud area. There is even the new modern diner you can enjoy with exquisite dishes from the western menus.
