The Royal Pita Maha Resort is located in the Ayung River valley region and overlooks not only the incredible river valley but also the beautiful and mesmerizing rice paddies that stretch throughout the entire area. The Royal Pita Maha Resort is located outside the main centre of the forest town of Ubud where the atmosphere is calm, tranquil and seeming with nature and culture. However it is still very close to the main areas for dining, shopping and all of the cultural and natural places of interest such as the temples and the enchanted monkey forest. Located at 600 meters above sea level with the closest beaches being the serine and quaint little fishing villages of the east coast, Ubud is located in the middle of the island of Bali at around a one and half hour drive from the international airport through some of the most scenic areas of the island. The Royal Pita Maha Resort is traditional in style and offers all of the villa facilities that you would expect from the mid to top end villas in the area, with ideal positioning and a spa as well as pools and amazing dining, it is one of the main traditional Ubud resorts of this area.
The separate guest villas consist of the pool villas, the healing house and the royal house all of which are of a very high standard. With private pools in the private enclosed gardens and all kinds of luxuries such as the private spa beds in the healing villas and excellent facilities and spacious living area, all of the villas are extremely tempting. There are only a small number of villas at The Royal Pita Maha Resort and they are known to get booked quickly due to the quality and positioning of the villa in terms of the views and the facilities as well as the atmosphere. The quality of the dining is on par with the other aspects of the resort. Here the style is totally Balinese and traditional although their is a modern kitchen and the chiefs are extremely competent in modern and traditional cooking of both western meals and the Asian Favorites. This blissful setting in the pavilion looking out into this incredible land is the perfect place to enjoy a meal although it is possible to enjoy a candle lit meal either in your private villa or in the gardens and by the pool if you with an exclusive menu if you arrange ahead. The Royal Pita Maha Resort boasts excellent wedding and banquet services that have been well used in the past due to their competency and grandeur.
