Waka di Ume Ubud Resort and Spa is one of the Waka Companies main resorts and is located just outside the min area of Ubud with proximity to the Palaces and markets. As with all of the Waka retreats, Waka di Ume Ubud Resort and Spa is an extremely well presented and stylish resort with some awesome water features and that trademark marriage of the modern tropical villa practicality and luxury combined with a fresh design that incorporates traditional styles and architecture and compliments the surrounding area perfectly. Ubud is known by many as Bali's cultural heart and is also one of the most beautiful areas on the island with tropical forests located around the surrounding hills and some of the most scenic and mesmerizing rice paddies in Bali. This incredible landscape has inspired the thriving artists and painters' communities that Ubud is famous for. Ubud is about an hours drive from the airport and this journey will lead you away from the south of Bali and into the tropical hills where the culture and landscapes are as they always have been.
There are a variety of different room options at Waka di Ume Ubud Resort and Spa including the Lanai terrace villa, the pool villa and the family pool villa. All of these villas are extremely well presented and are of increasing size and grandeur. Overlooking the gardens and the surrounding rice paddies. All rooms feature large luxurious beds with long flowing mosquito nets, polished timber decking with traditional rugs, thatched roofs in the traditional style and many other touches that create and comfortable and cosy environment in which to spend you time in Bali in and experience the mystical atmospheres of Ubud. The pool villas are very large and have large living areas and gardens, the pools are of a generous size an there are separate bathrooms and kitchenette in the family villas that are consistent with the Waka companies standards of presentation and practicality.
There is an extensive variety of services and activities available at Waka di Ume Ubud Resort and Spa including the use of the restaurant that overlooks the rice paddies and provides some of the most exquisite and expertly created Balinese and Indonesian food that you are likely to taste as well as a selection of western and Asian dishes from Thailand, China and Japan and is open from seven in the morning to eleven at night. The swimming pool is of multilevel and in adjacent to the rice padi terraces from which it has been inspired, yet another example of the resort's intimacy with its surroundings. There is also a fantastic Spa which is located by the paddies and features a huge selection of different treatments and uses only indigenous fresh ingredients. With a tour desk and all of the facilities you expect of a resort of this nature, Waka di Ume Ubud Resort and Spa is en excellent choice for anyone seeking to stay in Ubud.
