Waka Namya Ubud Resort and Spa is one of the select Waka company resorts that are carefully positioned around the island and offering excellent services and accommodation in alternative places around the island away from the crowds where you can find the peace and serenity of the real Bali while enjoying the pampering of modern resort luxuries. Waka Namya Ubud Resort and Spa is located within the famous painter village of Penestanan just outside of the main Ubud area where you can find an easy going pace of life and some fantastic art in the vibrant cultural traditional markets located around the area. Ubud is located high in the 600 meters above sea level in the mountains and is a cooler, fresher location the south of Bali with a much more cultural focus. From the airport the journey is around an hour and a half to reach the resort through some of Bali’s most scenic areas leading you away from the built up south an into the country of rice paddies, mountains and tropical forests where the Balinese drums and woodwind instruments are the soundtrack to the area.
There is a selection of different villas at Waka Namya Ubud Resort and Spa all of which are carefully positioned in order to achieve tranquility, seclusion and the best possible views. There are the Lanai rooms, the Deluxe Lanai and the Deluxe Villas, all of these options are beautifully decorated in a traditional style but with a modern twist of function and luxury that creates the perfect room for a sophisticated Ubud holiday. The villas can accommodate three people comfortably and have grand beds with long decorative flowing mosquito nets and there are larger interconnecting rooms that have only recently been opened. The facilities in the rooms are excellent including full entertainment systems with satellite televisions, DVDs and music as well as luxury en suite bathrooms that excel beyond the usual resort of this price range as does the design of most of the aspects of
Waka Namya Ubud Resort and Spa.
Facilities are excellent at Waka Namya Ubud Resort and Spa including the incredible spa that is located on the edge of the forest where you can enjoy the incredibly precise massages and attention to detail that is used when Appling each of the treatments. From Javanese cream baths to Balinese massage you can experience the Indonesian treatments that have become world famous as well as many international treatments. There is also an incredible swimming pool that is large in size and is set in the prime positioning for you to enjoy the views of the surrounding landscapes that surround the area. There is a bar located close by to this feature as well as plenty of shaded and sunlit seating and day beds located around this opening in the landscaped gardens. Dining at Waka Namya Ubud Resort and Spa is divine and features fusion meals and eastern delicacies as well as some of the most popular western dishes.
